Meet Trek! She is my passion! I can get lost in time on my bike rides. I crank up my music and ride for 15-25 miles each ride. Keeps me sane and fit all at once! I highly recommend taking out your bike and dusting it off and giving it a ride! Even if its been a few years just do it! Its just like Riding a Bike!

This is sweet niece. She brings such joy to me all of the time. We had a sleep over last night and I told her I was taking her to the school carnival down the street from us. Only to find out its next week! OOPS! So we went to dinner and attempted to redeem the evening by watching the Chipmunk movie.

Hardly makes up for the absence of cotton candy!

About 2 in the morning she woke up and said, " Jenni, I just really love coming to your house." OH MY HEART! After feeling like such a failure about the carnival it healed my broken heart.
In the morning we went to coffee and Target and of course bought a little something for my Sweet niece!

Surprises are the best! Especially when nature drops them in front of you! Literally! I was sidewalk chalking with my 3 year old niece today and suddenly my dog takes off after a squirrel that had a baby wrapped up around its neck. The squirrel dropped the baby at the base of my tree and my dog had no clue what to do! Even though he has chased them for years with what has seemed to be intent to kill. He proved today that his heart is bigger than his appetite! He sniffed the squirrel and walked away to find the mother!
I went and picked up the baby from the ground and he let me hold him! It is so sweet when nature allows you such a privilege. I placed him in the crack of the tree and stepped away. minutes later, mom came down, wrapped him around her neck, looked at me as if to say thank you, and headed back home. What a beautiful connection with nature today!

My Wedding Journey From The Mother In Law

It seems a bit odd to have a child of mine getting married. I don’t quite feel old enough for this journey.
I still feel like a kid in college myself. Totally in love with my amazing man.
But here we go! My Oldest and only son is getting married!
My Daughter in law to be has been living with us since January.
She is a wonderfully creative, smart and talented, not to mention, a beautiful girl. (They say boys marry women like their Moms) te hehehe!
It has been interesting and fun to watch the relationship between her and I grow.
We knew very little about each other before January, and now I feel like she is one of my own.
It is truly amazing how a relationship can develop so quickly. She has become one of our girls. We have even converted her from Blonde to Brunette!
I feel blessed to be on this new Mother in law journey.
My life has just had more seasoning added to it and it seems to be a perfect blend!
